Did you know Optimism is already fully supported in the Brave Brwoser wallet ?
I am very optimistic about Optimism. I think the project is really a great addition on Eth. Not saying anything about the price of a token. But i think for Ethereum it means as much as Matic. But before buying also form your own upinion about the token supply direction.
When i looked the first time at Optimism , the value of the chain was around 300 million. My idea was that the value could be as high as Polygon for the full chain. Polygon was around 7 billion. So that would give much potential for growing value of the Optimism token. But later i found out that the circulation supply of OP was only 7% of the supply generated untill 2026. The full supply will be over 4 billion tokens, and from there the inflation will be 2%. Growing that fast in token supply untill 2026 will bring the total chain value to the same level as Polygon, but not by a growing token value, only by more tokens. What makes it less attractive to keep a significant holding. Maybe i am missing some nuance here. But you can do your own research on tokens suplly with the link below.
